In a remarkable gesture aimed at enhancing community development and improving public safety, the Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has donated solar-powered streetlights to residents of Ojebode Community in Ward 10, Ona Ara Local Government Area.

The presentation ceremony, held earlier today at Ilaji Resort, attracted community members and stakeholders who gathered to witness the impactful initiative.

The solar-powered streetlights are expected to significantly improve visibility, boost security, and promote socio-economic activities within the Ojebode Community, especially during nighttime.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Funmilayo expressed profound appreciation to Chief Sanusi for the thoughtful intervention. She described the philanthropic gesture as a testament to his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of the people.

“Your continuous support for our community shows true leadership. You are indeed the Asiwaju of Ona Ara Land,” she stated.

Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi has consistently demonstrated his dedication to community advancement through various developmental projects, further solidifying his reputation as a people-centered leader.

This latest donation underscores his enduring commitment to lighting up communities and empowering residents across Ona Ara Local Government.
