They Mocked Us, Allah Answered’: Lateef Adedimeji Opens Up on Struggles Before Arrival of Triplets

Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the emotional struggles, public scrutiny and painful experiences he and his wife, actress Mo Bimpe, endured before welcoming their triplet sons.

The actor, who recently became a father of three boys with his wife, reflected on their journey in an emotional post shared on his official Instagram page on Tuesday.

According to Adedimeji, the couple endured whispers, rumours, mockery, assumptions and hurtful comments during the period they were waiting for the blessing of children.

Rather than respond to the speculation or engage those who criticised them, the actor said he and his wife chose to remain silent and place their trust in Allah.

“They spoke, Allah answered,” he wrote, reflecting on the period when public comments and rumours became difficult to ignore.

He recalled that there were moments when they could have responded publicly, explained themselves or attempted to prove their critics wrong, but they chose faith and patience instead.

Adedimeji said they remained confident that Allah was writing their story and would reveal the outcome at the appropriate time.

The actor described the arrival of their three sons as a powerful reminder of divine timing and answered prayers.

Reflecting on his family, he expressed gratitude for the blessing of fatherhood and described his three sons as three blessings and answers to prayers.

According to him, the experiences that were once used to mock or undermine them ultimately became part of their testimony.

He also paid tribute to his wife, appreciating her strength and steadfastness throughout the difficult period.

Addressing Mo Bimpe directly, Adedimeji thanked her for remaining strong and believing in their journey despite the pressure and uncertainty they faced.

The actor also wrote an emotional message to his three sons, telling them that although they may one day hear about the challenges their parents faced before their arrival, they should always remember that they were deeply prayed for and eagerly awaited.

Adedimeji stressed that he no longer seeks revenge or explanations from those who mocked or doubted them, saying his only response is gratitude to Allah.

He concluded that sometimes the strongest response to those who have counted someone out is simply to allow them witness the blessings that eventually come.

The couple announced the arrival of their triplet boys in May 2026, a development that attracted widespread celebration and congratulatory messages from colleagues, fans and well-wishers across the country.

Ahead of the couple’s thanksgiving ceremony, Mo Bimpe also shared a heartfelt video reflecting on her journey into motherhood, describing it as a transition from waiting and tears to joy and thanksgiving.

For Adedimeji, the birth of the triplets has transformed a period marked by uncertainty and public speculation into a deeply personal testimony of faith, patience and gratitude.
