The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has congratulated Hon. Fadare Blessing Fiyinfoluwa on his emergence as the Vice-Chairmanship Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for Akinyele Local Government in the forthcoming Oyo State Local Government Election.
In a congratulatory message contained in a banner issued by the students’ union leadership, the SUG described Fadare’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership qualities, dedication, competence and commitment to the growth and development of Akinyele Local Government.
The union expressed confidence in his capacity to bring his experience, energy and leadership skills to bear on the administration of the local government if elected.
The congratulatory message read in part: “Your emergence is a clear recognition of your exceptional leadership, dedication, competence, and commitment to the growth and development of Akinyele Local Government.”
Fadare, who is contesting on the platform of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), is expected to join other candidates in the race for the leadership of Akinyele Local Government as political activities intensify ahead of the forthcoming council election.
The Polytechnic, Ibadan SUG leadership, under the banner of the “Era of Unification” and led by Comr. Fagbemi Nurudeen Ojo, also wished the APM vice-chairmanship candidate success in his political journey.
The union’s gesture underscores its recognition of Fadare’s emergence and its confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to grassroots governance and the development of Akinyele Local Government.
