YUU: Young, United And Unstoppable – Boye Nation, JAF Movement Lead New Wave Of Youth Mobilisation Ahead Of September 21 Concert

A new wave of youth mobilisation is steadily gathering momentum in Oyo State, with the Young, United and Unstoppable (YUU) movement emerging as one of the most talked-about platforms ahead of the much-anticipated Boye Nation Concert scheduled for September 21, 2026.

Powered by Ajiboye Akande Sangogade, popularly known as Boye Nation, and Governor Seyi Makinde’s close Ally, Otunba Joseph Adeseye Famojuro (JAF), the movement is positioning itself as a rallying point for young people who believe in unity, participation, energy and a new direction for political engagement.

With preparations for the September 21 outing now in top gear, expectations are mounting that the event will combine entertainment, youth mobilisation and political networking on an unprecedented scale.

The Boye Nation Concert, billed to take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, is expected to feature more than 20 prominent musicians cutting across different genres.

Beyond the entertainment, however, organisers have described the gathering as an opportunity to strengthen political mobilisation and consolidate relationships among various stakeholders.

The event is also expected to provide a platform for the formal movement of loyalists of former Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Allied People’s Movement (APM), with the group led by Sangogade, popularly known as Boye Nation.

The development has further heightened interest in the YUU movement, particularly among young people who see the platform as an avenue for collective expression and greater involvement in the political process.

At the heart of YUU is a simple but powerful proposition: young people can be united, organised and unstoppable when they find common purpose.

The movement’s growing visibility reflects a broader appetite among young Nigerians for political participation that goes beyond traditional structures.

Rather than positioning youths merely as spectators or campaign crowds, YUU seeks to place them at the centre of mobilisation and political conversations.

For its architects, the collaboration between Boye Nation and JAF represents a strategic partnership capable of harnessing the energy of the younger generation and translating it into meaningful political engagement.

The duo’s activities have continued to attract attention as preparations intensify for what organisers describe as a mouthwatering outing on September 21.

The significance of the concert has been further heightened by the announcement that Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, is expected to attend the event in person.

Organisers say the adjustment of the concert date was partly to accommodate a major political gathering and to ensure improved logistics and turnout.

While music remains a major attraction, the September 21 concert is shaping up to be much more than an entertainment event.

It is expected to serve as a meeting point for political actors, youth groups, supporters and stakeholders, creating an atmosphere where entertainment and mobilisation converge.

The organisers believe the event will strengthen collaboration among the various groups involved in APM’s mobilisation efforts while providing a platform to welcome the Boye Nation group into the party’s fold.

This is where the YUU philosophy becomes particularly significant.

    Young. United. Unstoppable.

Three words that organisers and supporters believe capture the mood surrounding the emerging movement.

As the countdown to September 21 continues, the anticipation surrounding Boye Nation and JAF’s next move is growing.

From the mobilisation structures being assembled to the expected star-studded musical performances, all indications point towards an event designed to command attention.

For the young people rallying around YUU, however, the concert may represent something even bigger: an opportunity to demonstrate that youth mobilisation can be organised, energetic and politically consequential.

With preparations reportedly intensifying and the machinery for the concert already in motion, the spotlight is increasingly turning towards Boye Nation and JAF.

Their collaboration has become a major talking point within the unfolding political realignment in Oyo State, while the YUU movement continues to build its identity around unity, youth participation and collective ambition.

Whether the September 21 gathering becomes the political game-changer its organisers envision remains to be seen.

What is already evident, however, is that the movement is gathering momentum and attracting attention.

And as the countdown reaches its final stretch, one message from the YUU camp appears unmistakable:

The young are united. The movement is ready. And they are determined to be unstoppable.
