Hon. Adekunle Bankole has expressed his profound appreciation to the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for appointing him as the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board, pledging to bring his experience, dedication and commitment to bear on the new assignment.
Bankole, a former Chairman of Orire Local Government and former member of the Governing Council of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), described the appointment as a great honour and a call to greater service to the people of Oyo State.

In a statement issued following his appointment, Bankole expressed gratitude to Governor Makinde for the confidence reposed in him, assuring the governor and the people of the state that he would discharge the responsibilities of his new office with diligence, accountability and utmost commitment.
He said the appointment would further provide him with an opportunity to contribute to the development of the state, particularly in the area of healthcare administration and service delivery.

According to him, the confidence placed in him by the governor would not be taken for granted, stressing that he was fully prepared to deploy his experience in public administration and institutional governance towards achieving the objectives of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board.
Bankole stated that he would work closely with relevant stakeholders, healthcare professionals and members of the board to ensure that the responsibilities entrusted to him are carried out effectively and in the overall interest of the people of Oyo State.
He further pledged to approach the assignment with humility, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility, noting that the new position requires dedication and effective collaboration to achieve meaningful results.

The former Orire Local Government Chairman also appreciated the people and stakeholders who had supported him throughout his public service journey, describing the new responsibility as another opportunity to serve.
He assured Governor Makinde that he was ready to work in line with the administration’s vision and policies, particularly towards strengthening public institutions and improving the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services in the state.
Bankole said he remained committed to giving his best to the assignment and ensuring that the confidence reposed in him by the governor translates into purposeful service to the people.
He therefore called for the support and cooperation of members of the board, healthcare workers, stakeholders and the people of Oyo State as he assumes the new responsibility.
He reiterated his appreciation to Governor Makinde for the appointment, describing it as both an honour and a responsibility that he would discharge with the seriousness it deserves.
“I deeply appreciate His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for finding me worthy of this responsibility and for the confidence reposed in me. I will not take this opportunity for granted. I am fully prepared to serve diligently, work with all relevant stakeholders and contribute my quota to the advancement of healthcare administration in Oyo State,” Bankole said.
Bankole also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and strength for Governor Seyi Makinde as he pursues his future political and public-service aspirations. He wished the governor success in his endeavours and prayed that God would continue to grant him the capacity to serve the people and contribute positively to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
