The Founder of Omituntun Benedict Foundation/Forum (OBF), Oloye Benedict Akika JP, has congratulated Mogaji (Hon.) Olatoye Olajide, popularly known as Big Daddy Sugar, on his appointment as Coordinator of the Lagelu Local Government Presidential/Governorship Campaign Council, Oyo State.
The inauguration of the campaign council held on Monday, October 6, 2026, as political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections. Big Daddy Sugar, who also serves as Executive Assistant, BESDA, is expected to play a key role in coordinating campaign activities and grassroots mobilisation within Lagelu Local Government.
Akika, while hailing the appointment, described Big Daddy as a committed political mobiliser with the capacity to provide effective coordination and leadership at the grassroots. He expressed confidence that his experience, organisational ability and understanding of the political landscape would contribute to the success of the campaign council.
The OBF Founder urged the newly appointed coordinator and members of the council to remain united, focused and committed to their responsibilities, stressing the importance of effective grassroots engagement in achieving their political objectives. He wished Big Daddy Sugar and the entire campaign council a successful tenure and productive mobilisation ahead of 2027.
