Beto delivered a standout performance with two well-taken goals as Everton secured an emphatic 3-0 victory over a struggling Chelsea side on Saturday.

It was a night to forget for Chelsea, whose hopes of securing a top-five finish and a potential Champions League spot took another serious hit. Coming off a heavy European exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, the Blues have now suffered four consecutive defeats, piling pressure on manager Liam Rosenior just weeks into his tenure.

Everton, on the other hand, showed hunger and purpose from the start. The breakthrough came in the 33rd minute when James Garner marked his recent England call-up with a superb assist, setting up Beto to calmly finish past Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez.

Chelsea had a chance to respond, but Jordan Pickford produced a brilliant save to deny Enzo Fernández, keeping Everton in control.

The second half brought more frustration for Chelsea. Beto doubled his tally shortly after the hour mark, capitalizing on a costly error from Sánchez as the ball slipped through the goalkeeper’s legs.

Everton sealed the victory in style when Iliman Ndiaye finished brilliantly, capping off a move that once again exposed Chelsea’s defensive frailties.

The win lifts Everton firmly into contention for a top-five finish, now sitting just two points behind Chelsea in the table. For the Toffees, it also marks a positive turning point at their new home ground, where they are beginning to find consistency.

Meanwhile, Chelsea face a daunting run of fixtures against Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool leaving their Champions League ambitions hanging in the balance.
