The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has unveiled a development agenda focused on infrastructure, electricity, security, youth and women empowerment, as well as sustained grassroots engagement.

Adedeji also declared his support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential ambition, the governorship bid of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi and other APM candidates across Oyo State and the country.
KSA stated this on Saturday, September 19, 2026, during an interview on Fresh 105.9 FM’s Political Circuit, hosted by The Mayor, where he spoke extensively on his campaign, development priorities and his plans for effective representation of the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.

On road infrastructure, Adedeji said his proposed approach would prioritise drainage construction before grading and other road works, arguing that poor drainage contributes significantly to the deterioration of roads in many communities.
He disclosed that he had personally executed more than 70 projects and expressed confidence that he would be able to achieve more through collaboration with the Federal Government and other relevant authorities if elected.

According to him, drainage work had already commenced on Odiosun Unity Road, while his team was compiling a comprehensive inventory of inner and link roads requiring intervention across the constituency.
He explained that the plan would be to undertake grading and minor drainage works during the dry season as part of efforts to improve accessibility and reduce the deterioration of roads.
On electricity, KSA said his team had visited more than 200 communities across the constituency to identify their most pressing needs.
He said roads and electricity emerged among the major concerns raised during the consultations, adding that his assessment showed that more than 70 transformers were either required or in need of rehabilitation.
Adedeji further disclosed that he had personally assisted more than 10 communities with transformer repairs, promising to pursue collaboration with relevant federal and state authorities to address communities without transformers as well as those relying on faulty or abandoned equipment.
On security, the APM candidate proposed the use of technology, including CCTV cameras, drones and remote monitoring centres, particularly in border communities, to strengthen surveillance and facilitate faster communication with security agencies.
He added that traditional rulers, local government authorities and security agencies would be incorporated into the proposed security framework to ensure a coordinated approach to addressing security challenges.
Speaking on youth and women empowerment, Adedeji said his proposed programme would move beyond the distribution of cash or materials by combining skills acquisition with startup packages, business support and continuous monitoring.
According to him, the objective would be to enable beneficiaries to establish sustainable businesses capable of creating employment opportunities for others within their communities.
On representation, KSA pledged to maintain regular consultations with constituents through quarterly or biannual engagements rather than returning to communities only during election periods.
He said continuous interaction with the people would enable him to assess the impact of interventions, identify emerging challenges and ensure that constituents remained connected to their representative.
Adedeji also expressed support for Governor Seyi Makinde, saying, “Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde, he has done wonderfully well.”
He cited ongoing development projects and feedback gathered from communities visited by his team as reasons for his position on the Governor’s presidential ambition.
The APM candidate subsequently rallied support for the party’s candidates, calling on constituents to support Governor Seyi Makinde for President, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi for Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide Odidiomo for the Senate, himself for the House of Representatives and other APM candidates.
“We want our people to vote for good representation, quality and people that can serve, people that will be close to them,” he said.
Adedeji said the APM team would continue its dialogue with communities beyond the election period, promising to regularly return to the grassroots to assess what had been achieved and identify additional areas requiring intervention.
He maintained that his campaign would remain centred on grassroots engagement, practical development initiatives and accessible representation, while urging constituents to carefully consider candidates and programmes presented to them ahead of the 2027 elections.
The development agenda outlined by KSA comes amid his ongoing grassroots engagements across Ido and Ibarapa East, where he has continued to meet community leaders, residents, youth groups and other stakeholders as part of his campaign activities. Recent reports have also documented his engagements with communities and political groups across the constituency.
