Fresh outcomes have emerged from the ongoing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders’ meeting in Oyo Central Senatorial District, as two state constituency consensus candidates have been confirmed.
At the meeting held in the presence of Governor Seyi Makinde, stakeholders endorsed Hon. Oluwaseun Oyewo as the consensus candidate for the Afijio State Constituency.
Similarly, Hon. Abideen Adeoye Ogundare was confirmed as the consensus candidate for the Surulere/Ògo-Olúwa State Constituency.
Party insiders disclosed that the decisions followed wide consultations among stakeholders, aimed at strengthening unity, reducing internal contestation, and positioning the party for a coordinated electoral outing.
The meeting is still ongoing, with more developments expected as deliberations continue.
